This machine was manufactured with the Heavy duty worm drive head for cutting coarse pitch gears. The machine is equipped with all the machine features you would expect with the Gould & Eberhardt brand. this machine also has the additional center distance to allow cutting up to 50" diameter gears with the heavy duty head as most machines of this configuration are only limited to cutting a max diameter of 40".
